- INCLUDED COMPONENTS: The MSC includes everything you need for setup, including the PC MeterBus Adapter, a 1.8-meter RS-232 cable with connectors for reliable data transmission, and a 1-meter RJ-11 cable with connectors for easy connectivity.
- DATA ACCESS: This adapter establishes a communication link for real-time monitoring, data logging, and customization of user-adjustable settings from the controller or inverter. All data is transmitted using the MODBUS protocol. Accessible data includes stored battery voltage, solar charge current, load current, accumulated solar and load amp hours, charge stage, errors, alarms, local and battery temperature, and data logging files.
- THIRD-PARTY DEVICES: The Meter bus Adapter allows Morningstar's controllers and inverters to communicate with a variety of third-party serial-enable devices such as a PC running Morningstar's MS View software, a serial-enabled device like an internet gateway, or a MODBUS enabled hardware device at the site that needs to access solar system information.
